We partnered with 3D Metal’s FabLab to introduce STEM skills to second-year students. Through hands-on work- shops, students learned 3D modeling with Creo software and used laser cutting to build wooden F1 car models. This project not only developed their technical abilities but also enhanced teamwork and introduced them to the FabLab as a collaborative workspace. We created this project to bridge a gap within our school, giving second-year students valuable exposure to technical fields through practical exp rience and mentorship from our team.
To say thank you to 3D Metal for letting us use their cool FabLab, we did a special thing. On Saturday, March 1st, we had a fun workshop for the little basketball players of Calderara di Reno. We used a laser cutter to make awesome basketball gadgets for them. Each one was special and made them smile. We wanted to show them how cool and fun technology can be. By making real things, they saw how technology works and got interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). We loved sharing our love for technology and seeing them get excited.
